PROPOSED DONATION OF EXERCISE BOOKS, READING BOOKS, UNIFORMS, SCANDALS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
In line with one of our objective which is to improve educational development and in the course of carrying out programmes, we were able to discover that as a result of the strong hold of poverty challenging so many households in the developing countries which includes Africa and Nigeria, so many households are not able to fund their children’s educational bills.
Despite the efforts of the government in providing free education which only addresses the issue of school fees, affording the basic educational materials that will aid the child’s learning has remained a big issue. Some many households are unable to afford books and other educational materials such as Biros, School Uniform, Scandals, Bags, etc. for their children/wards.
For this reason, so many children come to school empty handed without any material to aid their learning. Some even come with torn uniforms, bare foot and without school bag. This is quite pitiable and a matter of concern. Education is said to be a panacea for societal development, candidly, a workman without basic tools will not deliver much – hence equipping the child with basic learning materials gives the child a sense of belonging as well as a better opportunity to truly get educated.
Having identified this as a major barrier to the proper education of the child whose right is to be educated and understanding the essential element education plays in building and developing a child positively, we have therefore determined to provide this basic necessities to Primary Schools in mostly rural areas of Rivers, Imo and Abia States of Nigeria in African Continent.
As a Non Profit making Organization, we do not have all the resources to fund this all important project that will affect the lives of the children mostly from the less privileged background. We are therefore calling on our well-meaning supporters to partner with us in accomplishing this task of providing basic educational materials to the less privileged children.
We have been able to evaluate the cost of this project which is valued at Thirty One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N31,500,000) and below is the breakdown of the estimate

However, the project can be carried out in millage and in phases as resources is made available. We shall commence with the rural Schools that are more helpless within the three States of interest. We shall be accountable to the supports that will be generated for this project as we will be furnishing with details of delivered services.
